Starting at $29,390, the base level 2021 Sorento LX has the confidence-inspiring capability with design to enhance your style. Under the hood, the LX has a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine with 191 HP and 182 lb.ft of torque. Add a towing hitch and haul up to 2,000 pounds. Drivers can upgrade the LX to AWD starting at $31,190 which includes drive mode select with snow mode and an additional 1 inch of ground clearance. New on the Sorento, see around windy roads with positioning lights and see further with LED headlamps. Choose from seven exterior colors including the newly added Crystal Beige. Inside drivers will enjoy the space of 3 rows, 7 passenger seating with One-Touch Slide & Fold 2nd-row seats to easily access the 3rd row or cargo area. In addition to the features listed above, the Sorento S comes outfitted with 18” machine-finished alloy wheels with black pockets, upgraded front and rear bumper stylings, gloss black accents, and an optional panoramic sunroof. The S trim level upgrades the seating from cloth to synthetic black or gray leather, driver and passenger seats are heated, and the driver’s seat is upgraded to 10-way power adjustable with lumbar support. A smart key with the push-button start along with 8 USB ports and dual-zone climate control is added for driver and passenger convenience. The Advanced Driver Assistance features on the S trim include the features from the LX model as well as Blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, and reverse parking distance warning. The S FWD trim MSRP starts at $31,890 and the All-Wheel Drive trim MSRP at $33,690. The AWD version has 7 color options, and FWD has 8 color options with the addition of Sapphire Blue.
With the 2021 redesign Kia has announced the addition of the hybrid to the Sorento line up. This hybrid adds a 1.6L turbo hybrid motor with 227 HP. On the exterior stylings of 17 inch machine finished aero style alloy wheels, satin chrome and matte black exterior details. The hybrid S 1.6L Turbo hybrid gets a combined gas and battery mileage of 655 mile range. This hybrid version comes in seven color options and starts at $33,590.
On the EX trim comes the addition of an 8-Speed automatic, 2.5L Turbo engine with 285 HP and 311 lb/ft of torque. Choose from eight exterior color options with black or gray synthetic leather interior. The convenient smart power lift-gate opens automatically when you approach the hatch with the key in your pocket. See further with LED fog lights that illuminate the road. On the interior, the EX features 2nd-row captain’s chair seating, wireless phone charging, and simulated wood grain on the door and dashboard trim. EX Turbo front-wheel drive starts at $34,990. The EX Turbo has an AWD option starting at $36,790, which includes snow mode on the drive mode select, 1 inch increased ground clearance, and a temporary spare tire.
Starting at $36,590 the EX 1.6L Turbo hybrid comes with a panoramic sunroof with sliding sunshade, wireless phone charging, smart cruise control, enhanced emergency braking and parking distance warning.
The Sorento SX trim level comes with the most options, including a 2.5L turbo engine starting at $37,990, the 2.5L turbo prestige starting at $40,590, and a 2.5L turbo prestige X-Line AWD package with an MSRP at $42,590. The SX turbo trims come with 20” gloss black alloy wheels, LED projector-beam headlights, LED tail lamps and new signature LED daytime running lights. Panoramic sunroof with power sunshade, and 10.25” touch-screen display are standard on the SX trims. With the addition of the prestige package, drivers will enjoy power-folding exterior mirrors, leather seating with 3D embossed bolsters, Bose premium audio, and advanced driver assistance features. The addition of the X-Line comes exterior stylings for a more rugged yet refined look and the option of Aruba Green exterior color with black or rust leather interior.
